Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all loads departing from the facility.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work environment.
  • Verify that all necessary paperwork accompanies equipment leaving the premises.
  • Safely load and unload equipment for clients, taking care to prevent damage.
  • Transport equipment using a pickup truck and gooseneck trailer.
  • Secure all loads properly before transit.
  • Inspect returned equipment for damage and ensure all items are accounted for.
  • Clean equipment after each rental to maintain high standards.
  • Assist with job setup at client locations as needed.
  • Maintain hoses and accessories associated with rental equipment.
  • Deliver and pick up equipment as required.
  • Adhere to company policies and departmental procedures consistently.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly, including daily maintenance of the yard and storage areas.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend service requests.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment.
  • Capable of lifting up to 70 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work on-call hours as necessary.
  • Possession of a valid CDL license and a clean driving record.
