Behavioral Therapist Opportunity

Success On The Spectrum is a national Autism Treatment franchise dedicated to quality care. We offer ABA, ST, OT, and Social Skills Classes in our nautical centers, in-home, and in-school. Our play-based model emphasizes NET, with regular field trips and high parent involvement. We provide free supervision and hands-on training to individuals enrolled in a Board Certified Behavior Analyst school. Our university partnerships offer college tuition discounts to all SOS employees.

Responsibilities
  • Work in our center Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm.
  • Supervise in-home clients once a week, 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
  • Create individualized, research-based client programs.
  • Analyze client progress and update programs as needed.
  • Conduct weekly parent training meetings and progress updates.
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) staff.
  • Attend weekly staff meetings and quarterly in-service trainings.
  • Manage insurance correspondence and pre-auth requests.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans under the direction of a BCBA.
  • Record client responses in the Central Reach program.
  • Convert appointments to billing.
  • Assist with patient assessments and reassessments for assigned caseload.
  • Update patient treatment plans, including formal reports and intervention plans.
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians.
  • Attend bi-weekly ABA staff meetings and assist with patient updates.
  • Gather data for feedback on staff performance.
  • Conduct direct therapy and model behavior for technicians.
  • Maintain and organize patient materials.
  • Assist with video-recording of patient therapy for training purposes.
  • Monitor parent training goals and ensure parent involvement.
  • Probe targets and future programs for clients.
  • Reinforce staff for correct and motivated work.
  • Provide feedback and modeling to promote a positive work environment.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned.
  • Write detailed SOAP notes.
  • Attend quarterly in-service trainings and team bonding activities.
  • Perform general end-of-day cleaning duties.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree completed.
  • Enrolled in a Master's program and started BCBA coursework.
  • No criminal background.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active.
