Position Overview

Compensation: Starting at $17.50 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on incentive.

Facility: Watson House

Work Schedule: Part-Time, 8-hour shifts available from 11 PM to 7 AM on Sundays.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Enhance and support the lives of residents while ensuring a safe and healthy living environment.
  • Promote skill development through engaging and active treatment activities.
  • Execute individualized care plans; document observations and daily progress.
  • Contribute to the planning of social, home, and recreational activities.
  • Assist with meal preparation and perform cleaning and laundry tasks as needed.
  • Transport clients to appointments and activities using company vehicles.
  • Provide assistance with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene.
  • Perform housekeeping duties as required.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift and transfer individuals without restrictions.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check, physical examination, and drug screening.
  • No prior experience necessary.

Training: New hires will undergo two weeks of paid training provided by The Verland Foundation Inc, focusing on daily living skills, social engagement, personal hygiene, and understanding each individual's support plan and personal development goals essential for enhancing the lives of those we serve.
