Physical Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Verland, a leading provider of care and support services for individuals with complex physical and intellectual challenges.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality, individualized care to our residents, including skilled therapeutic and maintenance-based services, as well as training and education for staff and family members.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive plans of care for residents, including spinal and lower-body splinting, therapeutic positioning, neuromuscular re-education, and manual therapy/mobilizations.
- Provide 1:1 client treatment, create individualized home programs, and train staff on therapeutic recommendations.
- Monitor client progress, complete necessary documentation, and collaborate with nursing staff to obtain medical paperwork.
- Facilitate a multidisciplinary approach to intervention and generalization of skill acquisition.
- Participate in infection control, regulatory compliance, and organizational safety programs.
- Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent educational requirement.
- Current national board certification and PT licensure with the state of Pennsylvania.
- 1+ years of PT experience with this client population preferred.
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, email communication, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
- Act 33 and Act 34 clearances, as well as a valid driver's license.
