Job DescriptionRole Overview

As an Experienced Project Lead for Commissioning and Management, you will oversee project delivery, serve as the primary client representative, and manage all aspects of project performance, including engineering, contract management, financial oversight, and resource allocation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure exceptional communication and satisfaction with clients
  • Oversee project scope, schedules, and financial performance to ensure timely delivery and profitability
  • Lead and coordinate project teams, assigning duties and managing resources effectively
  • Develop and implement commissioning plans and schedules
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Witness pre-functional and conduct functional testing of systems and equipment
  • Identify and resolve issues during the commissioning process
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations
  • Prepare commissioning reports and documentation
  • Provide training and support to clients and end-users
  • Handle contract negotiations, change orders, and project close-out activities
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to ensure seamless project delivery
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, supporting marketing and sales initiatives
  • Supervise and mentor staff, providing career development and performance feedback
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in commissioning or related project management fields
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems
  • Familiarity with commissioning software and tools
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Prior experience supervising technical staff
Preferred Qualifications
  • PE registration or relevant technical certifications (e.g., USGBC, AABC, NEBB)
  • Professional certifications such as CxA or PMP
  • Experience in energy audits, cost estimation, and construction
