The Role

We are seeking an Automation Engineering Specialist to join our Engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and executing industrial investment projects, providing technical support, and ensuring the capitalization of experiences on plants.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Activities: Perform technical specifications for design activities, define required technical features, and support the startup of new machineries.
  • Technical Reference: Provide technical assistance on activities to machineries and oversee the post-execution phase.
  • Sourcing Support: Act as a point of reference for the Sourcing department, providing support in sourcing strategy definition, collecting and evaluating offers, and assessing and selecting suppliers.
  • NA Specific Activities: Guarantee the connection and coordination between the Area and the central Engineering, aligning technical specifications, providing feedback on projects and vendors.
  • Vendors' Coordination: Manage vendors during the execution phase and ensure the successful completion of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required; Master's Degree a plus.
  • Specialization in Automation, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Electrotechnics.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in Automation, with knowledge of PLC, SCADA, Motion Control Systems, and OT infrastructures.
  • Advanced project management skills.
  • Availability to travel frequently for business trips across North America (approximately 50%).
  • Previous experience in Industrial Maintenance roles a plus.
