  • Lead the effort to create a technology target state for the Claim business unit, driving innovation and modernization.
  • Collaborate with senior Technology and Business leaders to set architecture priorities and direction, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Exhibit strong thought leadership in modern architecture principles and technology modernization, driving continuous transformation to reduce technical debt.
  • Partner with Senior Software Engineering leadership to identify opportunities from industry and technology trends, driving business value and innovation.
  • Lead technology proof of concepts to validate new architecture solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Define target state technology architecture and roadmaps, ensuring IT initiatives align with business objectives.
  • Build strong partnerships with engineering to align skills with technology direction, driving talent development and growth.
  • Communicate architectural direction and its alignment with enterprise strategy, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Optimize talent strategy to attract and recruit top talent, driving a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Continuously improve architecture efficiency and effectiveness, driving business outcomes and growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of technology architecture experience, with a strong background in insurance technology.
  • Cloud architecture certification (AWS, GCP, or Azure) or strong cloud experience.
  • Expert in software engineering, with a strong understanding of security and DevSecOps.
  • Experience with large-scale platforms like ServiceNow and Salesforce.
  • Strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of influencing C-level leadership and driving business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive innovation and transformation.
