We are seeking a dedicated Quality & Patient Safety Coordinator (RN) to join our team. This full-time role focuses on enhancing quality and safety within our healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The Quality and Patient Safety Coordinator is responsible for facilitating improvements in quality and safety while minimizing operational risks through performance enhancement strategies and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • This role fosters a culture of reliability and evaluates care quality, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective strategies in the following domains:
    • Outcomes - Ensuring reliable processes that lead to exceptional patient outcomes and optimal health.
    • Safety - Committing to the safest patient care through leadership and a culture of high reliability and performance.
    • Patient Experience - Promoting relationship-centered care that emphasizes empathy, dignity, respect, and collaboration.
  • SCOPE: This position is integral to the quality initiatives of our healthcare facilities, working closely with clinical leaders and staff to promote safe and effective care throughout the organization. Participation in key committees and quality improvement initiatives is essential.
Qualifications:

Job Requirements:
  • Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in a clinical discipline (RN, RT, PT, etc.) is preferred. Degrees in Healthcare Administration or Public Health will also be considered.
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience is preferred, including:
    • Proven track record in leading successful Quality Improvement initiatives.
    • Experience in change management, with the ability to guide the adaptation and implementation of new processes or technologies that enhance Quality and Patient Safety.
    • Background in supporting patient safety and high reliability programs.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
    • Experience in a complex healthcare environment (hospitals, outpatient clinics, etc.).
  • Certification in Patient Safety or Quality is highly preferred.
