Job Summary:

As a Surgical Technologist I with Integrated Resources, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms. Your technical skills and attention to detail will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient environment for patients and surgical teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform technical duties in all operating room specialty service areas, adhering to accepted standards of process.
• Maintain, assemble, handle, and sterilize specialty instrumentation, following aseptic technique and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Participate in the planning and setup of instruments, supplies, and surgical drapes, ensuring optimal accessibility during procedures.
• Assist surgeons, demonstrating an understanding of patient anatomy and abnormalities affecting surgical procedures.
• Recognize and modify scrubbing procedures based on pertinent information, communicating with the surgical team as necessary.
• Respond to surgical emergencies and follow hospital-wide emergency management plans.

Requirements:

• 3 years' experience as a surgical technologist.
• Successful completion of service-specific competencies in surgical technology.
• Strong communication skills and customer service relations.
• Excellent organizational and priority-setting skills.
• Certification in surgical technology and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Graduate of an accredited surgical technology or nursing program, or equivalent experience.
