Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Civil Engineer specializing in Highway/Roadway to join our Atlanta office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing engineering design, planning, and computations in accordance with GDOT and AASHTO publications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed roadway 3D models using Bentley InRoads or OpenRoads
  • Prepare accurate construction drawings and exhibits, meeting GDOT, client, or corporate CADD standards
  • Perform, review, evaluate engineer's estimate calculations and specifications
  • Write clear, concise, accurate, and professional technical reports, correspondence, and specifications
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with a multi-disciplinary team and clients
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, with 2 – 5 years of experience in a Civil Engineering firm
  • EIT required, PE preferred
  • GDOT experience and familiarity is a strong plus
  • CAD and MicroStation experience
  • Inroad and OpenRoads is a strong plus
Physical Requirements

Work is generally performed in an office or client office setting. Ability to use standard office equipment is required. Travel will be required.
