Role Summary:

An experienced Systems Analyst is sought to engage in development initiatives for a large team focused on project execution and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Demonstrated experience as a Systems Analyst within a functional team and collaboration with a systems development team is essential.
  2. Proficiency in configuring and supporting OFSAA LRM is required.
  3. Extensive development experience with Oracle forms and PL/SQL databases, including stored procedures, database triggers, and packages is necessary.
  4. A flexible mindset and adaptability to change are crucial for success in this role.
  5. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams with minimal guidance from senior management is expected.
  6. Strong verbal and written communication skills are mandatory for this position.
  7. Facilitate, document, and analyze intricate user business processes and requirements.
  8. Evaluate existing business processes, create current process model diagrams, and recommend enhancements for improvement.
  9. Develop design documentation based on meetings, JAD sessions, or other requirements gathering methodologies, in collaboration with developers and end-users.
  10. Lead the definition of user requirements, ensuring they are addressed in application implementation.
  11. Influence business users to redefine processes to optimize application utilization as necessary, recommending builds only for differentiation.
  12. Conduct data analysis, profiling, and validation of new data sources, including loans, deposits, and other security-related data.
  13. Collaborate with the MUB Data Management Office to ensure data integrity and quality across all Finance technology platforms and solutions.
  14. Create systems test plans and perform system testing for assigned change requests, tax updates, and patch bundles/upgrades.
  15. Provide functional support to the technical team in systems development and act as a liaison between end users and technical team members.
  16. Lead testing efforts for new or modified systems, working with the QA team to conduct various levels of testing, including stress, performance, and standard application testing.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field with 6-8 years of relevant experience.
  2. Comprehensive understanding of Banking and risk management, with experience in implementing Capital or Liquidity regulatory frameworks for banks (Basel III and Dodd Frank Stress Tests).
  3. Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical groups to maintain transparency and ensure understanding of design and implementation among all team members.
  4. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.
  5. Demonstrated personal ownership and commitment to quality, contributing to team management decisions and providing valuable insights.
  6. Dedication to business users and self-motivation to take ownership of issues and initiatives.
  7. Effective communicator, capable of adapting delivery style to suit various audiences, and able to present complex issues and solutions clearly.
