Job Summary:
Nova Biomedical is seeking a skilled Chemical Filling Operator to join our team in our Waltham facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and monitoring filling equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient filling, sealing, and labeling of various reagents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate filling equipment according to established procedures and specifications.
- Monitor and control the filling process to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of filling equipment and surrounding areas.
- Document and record all pertinent information related to the filling process.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience in an automated filling operation is desired.
- Basic knowledge of Quality System Regulations (QSR), OSHA safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Working Conditions:
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Must have good hand-eye coordination and visual acuity.
