Job Overview

Position: Field Service Technician - MOD IQ Levels 1 – 5

Compensation: $33 - $55 per hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver on-site assistance for the installation, upkeep, and operational support of advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
  • Assess and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing effective repairs.
  • Develop and adhere to comprehensive procedural guidelines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to identify and resolve technical challenges under tight deadlines.
  • Document findings and troubleshooting processes thoroughly.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time.
Qualifications:
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating workloads.
  • Capable of working independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and practices.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction and service excellence.
  • Experience with precision measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, multimeters).
  • Ability to interpret schematics and plumbing diagrams.
  • Familiarity with chemical handling and safety equipment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to strict operational procedures.
  • Mechanical and electrical proficiency.
  • Competence in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly required to sit, walk (approximately 10,000+ steps daily), crouch, use hands, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, and reach.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces and climb ladders.
  • Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds.
  • Must pass medical evaluations and training for respirator use.
  • Potential travel to various customer locations for training or support.
  • Work in cleanroom environments and utilize Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to interpret data and documentation accurately.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and workplace policies.
Educational Background:

A minimum of an Associate's degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience; alternatively, 4 years of related experience may substitute for the degree. Completion of military technical training and field experience may also be considered in lieu of an associate degree. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
