As an Infrastructure Engineer specializing in Product Engineering, you will play a vital role within the GovTech project team, collaborating closely with the Project Manager, Operations Team, Cloud/Solution Architect, and other Technical Consultants to deliver robust ICT capabilities.


Key Responsibilities:


Your primary focus will be on product features, functional analysis, and the delivery of a core Document Management System.

In this capacity, you will work within an operations team, engaging with key stakeholders to:

• Gain comprehensive knowledge of the Document Management System's features and capabilities.

• Participate in functional and requirements analysis for system enhancements and defect resolution.

• Convert business use cases into technical specifications and test cases.

• Assess and recommend solutions that effectively address business and operational requirements.

• Review design, system testing, integration testing, and data conversion documents to ensure compliance with specifications.

• Maintain oversight and control over product deployments and roll-outs.

• Actively participate in stand-ups to ensure agile delivery of product backlogs.

• Ensure product usability through interface design and standardization, including user guides.

• Engage with stakeholders and key users to gather continuous feedback for system improvement and evolution.

• Drive product upgrades and technology refresh initiatives for the system and its components.


Collaborate with developers and operations personnel to troubleshoot technical issues as needed, providing timely updates until resolution.


Conduct root cause analysis for issues to implement preventive and corrective measures that align with business and performance objectives.


Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you should ideally possess:


• A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience; candidates with over 10 years of experience may be considered for senior roles.


• A solid understanding of user experience design, search systems, web application security principles, session management, and operational best practices.

• Proven experience in application management and operations, particularly with content management systems and information-centric systems (portals, search engines).

• Familiarity with content management systems such as OpenText, Microsoft SharePoint, and AI/ML is advantageous.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas and influence stakeholders effectively.

• A strategic mindset with the ability to delve into details to understand business needs and challenges.

• Proficiency in facilitating discussions/workshops to elicit, manage, and prioritize key business requirements.

• Knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies for operations and product development.

• A collaborative team player with strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
