Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Technician to join our team at Grand Pacific Resorts. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing routine preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance services to ensure the smooth operation of our resort facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide routine maintenance services, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and pool maintenance
  • Maintain effective communication with supervisors, maintenance team members, and front office agents
  • Review, update, and complete work orders as assigned
  • Stay informed about emergency procedures, current projects, security issues, and location of emergency equipment
  • Develop proficiency in working well with team members and independently within the first 60 days
  • Pursue Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification and OSHA certification within the first 90 days
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in maintenance, janitorial, or construction industry
  • Strong customer focus and customer service skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is preferred
  • Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical Demands

The successful candidate must be able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Regular lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds are required.
