Soliant Health is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a school district near Trenton, NC. This full-time position involves providing essential speech and language therapy services to support the educational progress and communication development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Speech and Language Therapy Services: Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and state standards.
- Conduct Assessments and Develop Treatment Plans: Conduct assessments to evaluate students' communication skills and develop individualized treatment plans to support their academic and social success.
- Collaborate with Professionals: Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' academic and social success.
- Document Services Provided: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services provided and student progress.
- Participate in Team Meetings and Professional Development: Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and other school-related functions as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
- Valid State Licensure: Valid North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure is required.
- Previous Experience Working with School-Aged Children: Previous experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
- Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
