JOB SUMMARY:


We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Landing Gear Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a collaborative environment and prefer a less bureaucratic workplace.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee and optimize the workflow and scheduling of Landing Gear operations to ensure timely and cost-effective project completions.
  • Lead and coordinate the Landing Gear department team to guarantee seamless execution of all tasks.
  • Identify potential scheduling challenges and implement strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Manage reporting and communication with clients regarding project updates.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives for Landing Gear operations.
  • Establish detailed cost assessments for Landing Gear projects.
  • Explore and identify opportunities for cost reduction throughout the repair and overhaul processes.
  • Investigate PMA opportunities for high-value components.
  • Streamline Work Order Procedures and enhance existing workflows to improve efficiency and reduce expenses.
  • Assess and recommend improvements for external repair providers and develop internal repair capabilities.
  • Formulate pricing and billing strategies for Overhauls, Rentals, and Exchanges.

Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in an aircraft component overhaul environment.
  • A&P License is preferred.
  • Demonstrated operational leadership experience.
  • Familiarity with FAA Repair Station and manufacturing record requirements.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate across various organizational levels.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and special processes.
  • Advanced understanding of FAA component overhaul procedures.
  • Ability to interpret and follow component repair and overhaul documentation.
  • Proficient in reading engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and leadership capabilities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows applications.
