Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform disassembly, cleaning, analytical inspection, repair schemes, assembly, testing, painting, and sub-work orders related to LRUs, components, parts, and tools. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining equipment, reading and complying with work instructions, and writing technical reports.
Key Responsibilities- Disassemble, clean, and inspect aircraft landing gear components
- Perform repair schemes and assembly of hydraulic systems
- Test and paint components as required
- Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition
- Read and comply with work instructions and technical documentation
- Write accurate and technical reports as needed
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve goals
- Accurately complete work orders, BOMs, and data inputs within the ERP system
- Read and understand commercial, FAA, EASA, Repair Station, and ISO documentation
- Process tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Mentor and train other personnel as needed
- Immediately report any safety, quality, or unethical issues to supervisors
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical school courses in mechanics or machinist classes advantageous
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, and discretion
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Quantum preferred
- Ability to read and adhere to verbal and written instructions
- Basic decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure
- Effective communication and organizational skills
