Job Summary: Patient Services Administrator

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Services Administrator to join our medical team at Foot and Ankle Associates. This individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our office.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Provide administrative support to the medical staff, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  • Manage patient communications, including answering phone calls and responding to emails.
  • Collect patient demographics, insurance details, and patient financial responsibility.
  • Verify insurance benefits, including contacting insurance companies for copays and deductibles.
  • Calculate and collect patient copays and deductibles due, including overdue balances.
  • Assist patients with forms, medical records, and other documentation as needed.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow.
  • Handle patient complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area.
  • Perform general office duties, such as filing, faxing, and mailing.

**Requirements:**

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
  • Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is necessary.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency with office software, including EHR and Microsoft Office, is required.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information is crucial.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team is required.
