Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to identify patient needs and develop individualized plans of care.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes, including exercises, modalities, and education.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Provide on-site supervision to Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Aides.
  • Evaluate patient progress and modify plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current and valid NYS Physical Therapy license and registration or limited permit.
  • Current and valid BLS or CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hospital or orthopedic rehabilitation setting.
