Pediatric Telephone Triage Nurse

Nemours Foundation is seeking an experienced pediatric telephone triage nurse to support our primary care practices.
This is a casual, fully remote position that requires one shift every other weekend and two holidays per year.
Key Responsibilities- Provide primary care patients with telephone access to a highly skilled and trained registered nurse who accurately answers their questions and addresses their medical concerns during hours when the primary care offices are closed.
- Ensure continuity of care by communicating the patient's condition and plan of care to other health team members.
- Escalate patient concerns to the primary care on-call physician when necessary.
The Triage Nurse role may include:
- Weekdays: 4:00pm-12am, 5:00pm-9:00pm, 6:00am-8:30am, Overnight 12:00pm-8:30am
- Weekends: 7:30am-3:30pm, 3:30pm-12:00am, Overnight 12:00pm-8:30am
No permanent night shifts are included for this role, but the nurse must be available to cover up to 5 overnight shifts per year.
