We are currently seeking a dedicated Quality Coordinator to oversee the quality assurance of our incoming and outgoing materials as well as our production processes. This role is crucial in maintaining our commitment to excellence in our products.
The ideal candidate will have a meticulous eye for detail and a strong commitment to quality assurance. A comprehensive understanding of quality standards is imperative to succeed in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assessments of products through precise measurements, visual inspections, and comparisons against specifications.
- Evaluate and determine the quality of purchased finished goods, documenting supplier performance.
- Perform sampling of production components and assess them using established methods (including measuring dimensions and testing functionality).
- Maintain detailed records of testing outcomes and metrics, such as daily defect rates.
- Audit and verify production procedures to ensure compliance with safety and efficiency standards.
- Monitor equipment usage to guarantee safety and maintenance, removing any non-compliant equipment.
- Prepare and present quality reports to management.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a quality coordination role or similar position.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a results-oriented mindset.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and focused on customer satisfaction.
- Familiarity with quality testing equipment and methodologies.
- Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures and micrometers.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- High School Diploma; additional qualifications are advantageous.
- Physical capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Able to adapt to varying temperature conditions and manage noise levels typical in a manufacturing environment.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
