Role Summary

The Shift Lead Cleaner plays a crucial role in guiding, motivating, and directing a team of cleaning professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct quality inspections within designated areas to ensure high standards.
  • Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction levels.
  • Provide training and development support to team members.
  • Offer guidance on safety protocols, cleaning procedures, and chemical usage.
  • Address performance issues with crew members using appropriate documentation.
  • Lead and collaborate with the team to complete assigned tasks effectively.
  • Assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Supervisor.
  • Assist the Supervisor and Shift Manager in overseeing field employees.
  • Maintain effective communication with passengers, co-workers, and management.
  • Adhere to all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company and regulatory bodies.
Essential Functions
  • Provide leadership and direction to team members.
  • Facilitate open communication between field employees and management.
  • Offer constructive coaching to enhance team performance.
  • Assist in training housekeeping staff and organizing work schedules.
  • Manage daily and weekly work assignments.
  • Oversee cleaning operations within the assigned facility.
  • Handle keys and access cards responsibly.
  • Report any damaged or malfunctioning items promptly.
  • Ensure premises are secured at all times.
  • Coordinate additional service requests as needed.
  • Work with management to schedule jobs effectively.
  • Supervise the quality of work and confirm completion with management.
  • Provide training for new hires assigned to the facility.
  • Participate in all relevant meetings and training sessions.
  • Complete and validate time sheets accurately.
  • Check supplies, equipment, and chemicals on a weekly basis.
  • Complete order forms accurately and thoroughly.
  • Coordinate equipment usage and inventory management.
  • Perform all tasks and duties required of the team.
  • Carry out miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Experience in customer service is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior customer service experience.
  • One year of relevant work experience.
