About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Sierra Medical Center. As a vital member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena. This includes addressing the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
- Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assess operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
