Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Sierra Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in this role, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations in the OR arena.
- Address the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care related to the surgical and Pain Center environment.
- Communicate with surgeon and anesthesiologist continuously and as needed about patient condition.
- Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and pain management inventory.
- Participate in performance improvement activities.
- Assess operating room / procedure room for equipment functioning and readiness, obtains supplies for individual cases and ensures all appropriate needs of surgical operating team are met.
- Monitor, position and assist patient during procedure.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
