Operating Room Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Northern Nevada Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in our Operating Room, you will provide direct patient care to infant through geriatric patient populations, addressing their physical, emotional, and social needs. You will work closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Assess and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
- Monitor and maintain surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring a smooth and efficient operating room environment.
- Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.
- Participate in performance improvement activities, contributing to the continuous improvement of our operating room processes and patient care.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Nevada.
- At least one year of Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
