Overview

The Senior Inventory Management Coordinator is tasked with managing inventory and cataloging processes, ensuring that inventory levels are optimized for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyzing supply and demand variances to maintain balance
  • Advising on inventory management strategies

Work Environment

This position involves a combination of office tasks and exposure to warehouse environments. Office duties include the use of standard office equipment, while warehouse responsibilities involve handling various tools and materials.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • In-depth understanding of warehouse and storeroom operations
  • Proficiency in computerized inventory management systems
  • Knowledge of statistical methods applicable to inventory analysis
  • Familiarity with industrial supplies and equipment
  • Technical writing capabilities for specifications
  • Strong problem-solving and supervisory skills
  • Ability to coordinate inventory assessments

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field, along with two years of experience in inventory control and cataloging, particularly in a digital context.

Substitution Policy

Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of educational qualifications.

Promotional Criteria

  • At least one year of service as a Stores Specialist
  • Possession of civil service status as a Stores Specialist
