Position Overview:
Are you enthusiastic about innovation and advanced technology? The Engineering and Technology Internship Program focusing on Embedded Systems offers you a chance to work on both hardware and software development projects.

Your assignments may involve:
  • Application and development of IoT products
  • Firmware and software development for microcontrollers
  • Creation of embedded hardware for power distribution solutions

Upon completion of the internship, you will possess both technical expertise and business insight, positioning you for consideration in Eaton's Engineering and Technology Development Programs after graduation.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Currently enrolled in or have completed a degree in electrical or electronics engineering, computer engineering, software engineering, or computer science from an accredited institution
  • Minimum overall GPA of 2.8
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Geographically flexible for relocation within the United States

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with embedded systems and familiarity with programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2
  • Previous internship or co-op experience
  • Demonstrated leadership in campus or community activities

Position Criteria:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts effectively
  • Willingness to travel (up to 25%) as determined by the Engineering & Technology Assignment Manager
  • Ability to relocate within the United States for the duration of the internship
