Job Title: Financial Strategist

Job Description:

The successful candidate will oversee the company's financial data, maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and daily financial entries and reconciliations. This role involves shaping our financial strategies and contributing to overall business growth and success.

Responsibilities:
  1. Perform monthly, quarterly and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports as necessary.
  2. Analyze and report on financial status, communicating financial results to management, budget preparation, and analysis.
  3. Improve systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions.
  4. Oversee taxes and abide by federal regulations.
  5. Implement strategic financial planning and forecasting models to support business growth and decision-making.
  6. Prepare and present financial reports and risk analysis.
  7. Evaluate compliance with accounting and financial regulations and standards.
  8. Collaborate with financial and non-financial stakeholders, presenting financial information and strategies in an easy-to-understand manner.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant field. A Master's degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification would be considered an advantage.
  2. Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, or senior accountant with a minimum of 5 years general ledger experience.
  3. Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles, laws and best practices.
  4. Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
  5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  6. Analytical mind with strategic ability.
  7. Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  8. Outstanding communication skills.
  9. (ISC)2 certification or equivalent is preferred.
  10. Proven experience in financial project management.
  11. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
