Parking Attendant Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parking Attendant to join our team at Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe. As a Parking Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our resort parking lots, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Daily Parking Lot Setup and Tear Down: Assist in the daily setup and tear down of parking lots, following the directions of the Parking Lot Manager.
  • Parking Lot Direction: Direct resort guests to the most effective parking spaces, ensuring the efficient use of parking lot space.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of parking lots and surrounding areas, including daily trash collection.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service as the first point of contact for guests arriving at the resort.
  • Snow Removal: Assist with snow removal on pathways and staircases leading to the lodge, ensuring customer and staff safety.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent English communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a professional manner.
  • Safety Awareness: Demonstrate the ability to observe and apply all applicable safety standards.
  • Customer Focus: Provide excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under pressure, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform snow removal as needed.
Marginal Duties:
  • Clarify Expectations: Clarify expectations and seek additional training as needed.
  • Guest Assistance: Provide basic assistance to guests with car troubles and offer knowledgeable information about the resort to inquiring guests.
