Valet Attendant

The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Valet Runner. As a key member of our hotel operations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their vehicles are parked and retrieved efficiently, and maintaining a safe and secure parking environment.

• Guest Services: Welcome guests and visitors with a warm and professional greeting, and provide assistance with opening and closing vehicle doors.
• Parking and Retrieval: Park and retrieve guest vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring they are returned to their owners in the same condition as when received.
• Communication: Communicate parking procedures to guests and visitors, and provide information about property facilities, amenities, and services.
• Security and Safety: Monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property, and maintain the security of vehicles and their contents.
• Problem-Solving: Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and take steps to resolve issues promptly and efficiently.

• Previous Experience: Previous valet experience is preferred, but not required.
• Age and Driving Experience: Must be at least 19 years old and have a minimum of 3 years of driving experience.
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Language Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Fluency in English is required.

The physical demands of this role include standing for long periods, walking, and moving through all areas of the casino. The ability to lift and move up to 65 pounds is also required. The employee must be able to consistently run or jog for more than 50% of their shifts to ensure efficient drop-off and pick-up of cars.
