We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Technician to join our team at Performance Foodservice. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of diesel equipment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify potential issues
  2. Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes and tire rotations
  3. Diagnose complex problems using computerized diagnostic tools
  4. Train and mentor junior technicians

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 3-5 years of experience in medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Perks:

  • $25.00 per hour or more depending on experience
  • 4-day work week with 10-hour shifts (Tuesday-Friday)
