Job Title: Heavy Duty Diesel Technician
">">About the Role">
This role is responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel equipment, including tractors and trailers, while ensuring adherence to safety regulations.
">Key Responsibilities:">- Troubleshoot and diagnose diesel equipment issues">
- Perform preventative maintenance on company standards">
- Document all repair orders, PM lists, and parts accountability">
- Handle road service calls and perform rescue/transport as needed">
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment">
- Manage inventory and recordkeeping">
- Backup other maintenance shop personnel">
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in diesel mechanics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">The following qualifications are required for this role:
">- Minimum three years of hands-on experience in diesel mechanics">
- Diesel Mechanic Certification or TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certification">
- Diagnostic and troubleshooting competency relating to equipment repairs">
- Independent analytical and problem-solving skills">
- Prior experience in administering appropriate PM programs">
