About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Financial Counselor to join our team at UW Health. As a Financial Counselor, you will play a critical role in providing patients with estimated costs for upcoming services, assisting them in understanding the billing prepayment process, and reviewing their coverage to determine overall cost for their specific plan of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patients with clear and concise information about their financial obligations
- Assist patients in navigating the billing process and identifying potential financial assistance options
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information is provided to patients
