Position Summary:
We are seeking a talented PLC Programmer who possesses a strong enthusiasm for automation and control systems. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, testing, and deploying PLC software solutions aimed at enhancing our clients' manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with project managers and engineers to comprehend client needs and project goals.
- Architect and develop PLC software solutions tailored for industrial automation initiatives.
- Program and configure PLCs, HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems.
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for PLC programs and system setups.
- Collaborate with the electrical and instrumentation teams to ensure smooth integration of control systems.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to diagnose and rectify software and hardware challenges.
- Provide on-site assistance during system installations and commissioning phases.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in PLC programming and automation technologies.
- Support in training client staff on the operation and upkeep of PLC systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a PLC Programmer within an industrial automation context.
- Proficiency in PLC programming languages.
- Familiarity with HMI and SCADA software platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and adhere to project timelines.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site installations and client support.
