Job Summary

PruittHealth is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Care Staff to join our team. As a Direct Care Staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision and training to clients as outlined in their Individual Program Plan.
  • Implement the assigned clients' Active Treatment Schedule as written.
  • Implement behavioral procedures when maladaptive behaviors occur.
  • Implement client training activities as outlined in the Individual Program Plan.
  • Assist clients with maintaining their rooms in an orderly manner.
  • Ensure clients are dressed appropriately for the time of day, activity, and weather.
  • Accompany and train clients on planned outings as assigned.
  • Attend in-service training to maintain employment and complete training as assigned.
  • Implement data collection procedures and protect the rights of clients.
  • Follow policies and procedures regarding employee conduct and dress code.
  • Report any changes in client condition to the Team Leader Supervisor.
Requirements
  • At least a 10th-grade education.
  • On-the-job training provided.
  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • One year of experience in a similar position, child care, or health service occupation preferred.
  • CPR certification preferred.
