Key Responsibilities
  • Provide physical therapy services as planned and delegated by the qualified Physical Therapist.
  • Confer with Physical Therapist regularly to discuss patient progress, questions, and concerns.
  • Assist with cleaning and maintenance of equipment and treatment areas.
  • Report any equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the Physical Therapist of record.
  • Incorporate the use of adaptive equipment to enhance the rehabilitation program.
  • Maintain and submit patient treatment and billing documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies, professional practice standards, and applicable laws.
  • Attend and participate in internal staff development programs and meetings.
Requirements
  • Current unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of practice.
  • Current Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification.
  • A minimum of one year's work experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant preferred.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of rehabilitation techniques related to complex neurological injury.
  • Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions.
  • Demonstrates strong organization skills and attention to detail.
