About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Nephrology Faculty member to join our team at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, Texas. This is a unique opportunity to advance your career in academic medicine while making a difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Details

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $250,000 - $300,000 per year. The successful candidate will have a strong background in internal medicine and a passion for teaching and patient care.

Responsibilities and Requirements

  • Direct the treatment of internal disorders.
  • Analyze records, reports, test results, and examination information to diagnose the patient's medical condition.
  • Prescribe or administer medication, therapy, and other specialized medical care, including diagnosis and non-surgical treatment of diseases.
  • Monitor patients' conditions and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
  • Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
  • Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
  • Prepare and deliver lectures and presentations on internal medicine to medical students and residents regarding training in various clinical settings, such as hospitals and outpatient clinics.
