Job Description

The Professional Development Specialist plays a crucial role in creating and implementing staff education and professional development activities that optimize patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate ongoing educational and professional development activities for clinical and non-clinical areas.
  • Collaborate with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present, and evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education, and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in activities that promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in nursing or a related field.
  • No supervisor experience required.
  • RN licensure and Basic Cardiovascular Life Support certification preferred.

This is a full-time position, working 4x10-hour shifts per week at the BJC Learning Institute location.

The estimated salary for this position is $$90,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
