Position Overview: RN ED Part-Time Nights
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver professional nursing care within a designated unit. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans. Your role will involve providing personalized, age-appropriate bedside nursing care tailored to patient needs. You will also take on supervisory responsibilities, including assessing, planning, delegating, and exercising independent judgment in guiding other healthcare personnel in patient care delivery. Regular evaluation of nursing practice quality and effectiveness will be part of your responsibilities, as well as participating in hourly rounding and adhering to safety protocols.
Key Skills: Strong interpersonal abilities and teamwork skills are essential. You should be capable of functioning in a fast-paced environment with occasional high-pressure situations. Excellent customer service skills and basic computer proficiency are required. Experience in CVICU or ICU is highly preferred, with a minimum of two years in Cardiac Stepdown.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education: Nursing Degree from an accredited institution.
Preferred Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Minimum Experience: For Level II EQ Only: At least two years of current Level III NICU experience, including neonatal ventilator management.
Preferred Experience: One year of acute care experience is preferred, though new graduates will be considered. Certification in a specialty area is advantageous.
Licensure/Certifications: Valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Arizona. CPR and ACLS certifications as required by the facility or department.
Specific certifications may be required based on department needs, including PALS or ENPC for ER, and NRP for L&D. Additional training or certification may be necessary for specialized areas such as Bariatrics or Wound Care.
Training Requirements: For L&D: Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification is required within six months of hire.
