A leading aerospace company is seeking a skilled maintenance fitter to join their team in Gloucester.
The Role
You will be part of a diverse multi-skilled process and assembly maintenance team, working on equipment used in surface finish, heat treatment, Non Destructive Testing (NDT), paint & OE Assembly by an international leading company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performing reactive and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Identifying and sourcing spare parts.
- Documenting and prioritizing work through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Ensuring adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HS&E) standards and policies.
Essential Criteria:
- Ability to read mechanical drawings, including assembly and schematics.
- Strong teamwork and independent working skills.
- Effective fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in fabrication and fitting skills, with a focus on core bench-fitting skills.
- Experience using a CMMS.
- Commitment to working safely and adhering to HS&E standards and policies.
Salary and Working Hours:
- £37,000
- Monday
- Thursday, 7:30am - 4pm, Friday 7:30am - 12pm
