Job Overview

The Addison Group is seeking a highly skilled Lead Cloud Architect to spearhead environmentally focused projects.

Salary: $72/hour (based on location and experience)

About the Role

This is a fully remote position, requiring flexibility and a strong ability to work independently. As a Lead Cloud Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions to support our organization's mission.

Your day might include writing codes and unit tests for secured REST APIs services and web applications, operating backend services and architecture, and collaborating cross-functionally to maximize impact through technology deployments.

  • You will build frameworks and tools for identifying scaling bottlenecks, measuring, monitoring, and optimizing backend performance to ensure high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
  • Develop, release, and run large-scale web applications, developing and defining the backend architecture and tech stack across multiple products.
  • Improve performance, reliability, scalability, and security for our backend systems, develop/review test plans, test execution, and test results as part of quality assurance during development and maintenance.
  • Create appropriate documentation of each aspect of the application for future upgrades and maintenance, communicating between internal staff and external consultants on system specification, design analysis, and integration.
Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with a degree in computing, mathematics, engineering, or a related field, and at least 10 years of experience building integrated web applications involving database, REST API, and user interface using C#, Angular, ASP.Net Core MVC/WebAPI, Entity Framework Core.

  • Prior experience working with Agile teams for software development and version control (e.g., git), and Unit Testing service-oriented architecture.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and other technologies (e.g., Postgres, Redis, Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, EntityFramework).
  • Deployable architecture through code on Azure, deploying microservices on Docker and Kubernetes.

  • You have effectively implemented enhancement requests from program managers and other key stakeholders and addressed user-specific concerns.
