Job Summary

Cleveland Clinic's Mercy Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our 5M Neuro Med Surg Unit. As a member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work alongside passionate and dedicated caregivers in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients with neurological and medical-surgical conditions
  • Implement, monitor, evaluate, and update patient care plans to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Monitor and record patients' conditions, administering prescribed medications and treatments as needed
  • Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, assessing and coordinating patients' discharge needs
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management and self-care
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Two years recent related experience (internal applicants with less than two years experience may be considered with CNO review and approval)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
