Our 5M Neuro Med Surg Unit provides care to stroke and med/surg patients, making it an ideal place for new grad RNs to develop critical thinking, prioritization, and nursing skills.

As a caregiver in this position, you will work alongside a dedicated team of passionate and experienced caregivers who are committed to providing world-class patient care. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced nurses, participate in hospital-wide committees, and develop your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients alongside a success coach
  • Establish and revise priorities for patient care based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability
  • Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce, or prevent risk
  • Document patient care in medical records
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN)
