About the Role

This is a great opportunity for new grad RNs to develop critical thinking, prioritization, and nursing skills in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The 5M Neuro Med Surg Unit provides care to stroke and med/surg patients, and our team has a great culture and a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients alongside a success coach
  • Establish and/or revise priorities for patient care based on acuity of need, patient preference, and resource availability
  • Respond to data indicating risk to patients' health and initiate action to correct, reduce or prevent risk
  • Document patient information in medical records
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • New graduate RN or less than one year of RN work experience
