Job Overview

Position Title: Field Service Technician

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary Range: $50,000 to $100,000 annually

Job Responsibilities:

The Field Service Technician plays a crucial role in providing post-sales support and technical assistance for rental machinery. This position involves:

  • Conducting inspections and diagnostics on various equipment including forklifts, mobile elevating work platforms (MEWPs), and cranes.
  • Performing troubleshooting, repairs, and overhauls to ensure optimal functionality of rental equipment.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service while addressing technical inquiries and issues.

Qualifications:

  1. Education: Associate degree or equivalent technical training preferred.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the maintenance and repair of rental equipment, with a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  4. Certifications: A valid CDL is advantageous.
  5. Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and customer service abilities are essential.

Work Schedule:

  • Day shift, Monday to Friday
  • Occasional weekends as required
