A-Line Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Clinical Pharmacist. This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading organization in the healthcare sector, providing significant potential for professional advancement.

This position is full-time, requiring a commitment of 40+ hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $60 to $63 per hour. Comprehensive benefits are available to full-time employees after a specified period of employment, including:

  • A 401(k) plan with company matching after one year of service.
Work Schedule

The required availability for this position includes:

  • Morning Shift: 9 AM - 5:30 PM, including every other weekend.
  • Evening Shift: 3 PM - 11:30 PM, including every other weekend.
Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all new and refill prescriptions and orders.
  • Verify the content and labeling of all medication packaging, including emergency drug kits and intravenous medications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive resident database, including current and historical medical information and concurrent medications.
  • Assist in the management of controlled substances, including ordering, documentation, and inventory maintenance.
  • Provide clinical guidance in response to inquiries from healthcare staff and external clients.
  • Document all interactions with healthcare professionals and patients in the medical records.
  • Oversee the preparation and supervision of sterile intravenous drug products.
  • Provide coverage during evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations, including HIPAA compliance.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, which may vary based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • Active and valid Pharmacist license in good standing.
  • Minimum of two years of recent experience in an acute-care environment or one year as a production pharmacist is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree or Doctor of Pharmacy from an accredited institution.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Mandatory attendance for the initial training period.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with intravenous admixture services and intravenous therapy is desirable.
  • Management experience is a plus.
