Medical Device Assembler

About the Role:
Mix and prepare 2 component adhesives and silicone. Work and handle microscope.
As a key member of the Manufacturing team, the successful candidate will be responsible for placing, gluing, mounting, and assembling sensors and sub-assembling catheters.
After being trained accordingly, the individual will backup as an additional resource in manufacturing processes, including sleeve manufacturing and bonding of pressure sensor micro chips.
Other duties may include tasks in our Warehouse. The candidate will report all non-conformity product issues to the Production Team Leader.
Adherence to standard production procedures and quality standards for all work performed is essential. The individual must also adhere to all hygiene and security standards of the company.
Depending on experience and skillset, we have multiple positions available:
- Assembler: $20.00/hour
- Assembler II: $23.00/hour
- Senior Assembler: $25.00/hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior assembly experience, preferably in medical device manufacturing.
- Must be able to read and understand work instructions.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Must possess ability to effectively use a microscope and miniature tools such as tweezer and scalpel.
- As well as the ability to measure using basic measuring equipment such as pin gages, micrometers, luer taper gages and rulers.
- Requires production work with ability to handle physical requirements, including, but not limited to, sitting for several hours, repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
