Tenet-AZ Region is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Abrazo West, a level 1 trauma center in Goodyear, Arizona.
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to circulate in the operating room and assist physicians with advanced tasks or equipment during surgical procedures. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and evaluating patient outcomes in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing standards.
Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Evaluate patient outcomes and revise care plans as needed
- Provide education to patients and families on post-operative care and recovery
- Participate in training and orientation of surgical staff and students
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- One year of operating room experience in an acute care setting
- One year of experience in a Level 1 trauma OR setting
