We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Abrazo West Campus. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for circulating in the operating room and assisting physicians with advanced tasks or equipment during surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare for surgical procedures by completing assessments of patients and reviewing patient charts, diagnostics, and labs.
- Formulate and initiate plans of care based on patient-specific needs and medical plans of care.
- Provide care based on physician orders and in compliance with policies and procedures, standards of care, and regulatory agency requirements.
- Document surgical procedures in patient records and ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Participate in OR turnover between cases and assist with stocking, replenishing supplies, and cleaning operating rooms.
- Current, valid RN license in the state of practice.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- One year of operating room experience in the acute care setting.
- Preferred experience in Level 1 trauma OR setting.
